Grace Initiatives

Grace Initiatives is a local faith-based non-profit organization working with pregnant and parenting teens to empower them to make a plan for their futures and their babies’ futures.  We offer young mothers housing, counseling and life-skills education at our local residential home, Grace’s Place.  Our goal at the home is to model stable and healthy family-style living and well as provide support to accomplish life-goals, such as completing their education.  In addition, we operate Chapter2 Thrift Store (at 509 N. Main St., Lanoka Harbor) as a job-skills training program for our young moms, equipping them to become gainfully employed and to learn to live independently.
